He was a business man in the Moncton area for 25 years, before returning to his primary profession.
Born in Pointe-Verte, New Brunswick, he started his funeral training in Petit Rocher. He then moved on to Bathurst, Quebec, and finally Moncton, where he completed his training and obtained his diploma. He worked in this field for several years before purchasing a business.
In 1999, he became a board member of Funeral Co-op Ltd. Three years later, he opened Passage Funeral Co-op Ltd.
